i saw from the post below that many of you don't like adam. i can't stand him! i can't even watch him perform. i hate his creepy screaming face. he does have a good voice but his image totally grosses me out.

I haven't liked him since the beginning. His performances are just too theatrical for me, and I don't think I'd be a fan of the type of music he will make.

yes yes yes. and yes agian. I HATE him. I swear if he wins I'm not ever watching again. Not that that's much of a threat. But I totally agree- creepy.... and the 'ring of fire' performance sealed the deal for me. ugh!

I liked him on that Tracks of my Tears song. I think he is good.. however I like Kris better. I feel like Adam would be good at rock and I know he will get a record deal whether he wins or not so I would much rather see Kris or Danny win.. preferrably Kris because his voice is lovely.

If he could do just ONE song without screaming I might like him more. After listening to him last night, I decided I should take Brenna to try out after she is born. I am sure she will be able to hit those high notes when she is screaming to be fed!

Adam is the reason I can no longer watch Idol. It was a very painful day when I had to delete it from my DVR schedule. DH thinks I am nuts, but he truly does urk my soul.

i missed the ring of fire performance - fortunately, apparently. the way he lays his big fat tongue over his bottom teeth when he screeches makes me want to barf. i feel like his persona is too steven tylerish. i'm over that.

DH & I were watching last night, and when he came on to perform, I looked at DH and noticed he had his eyes closed. I asked why and he said "to not see his nasty tongue when he screams." I usually look away when he performs because I can't stand looking at him. He's gross.

I will say his only "good" performance for me was the Mad World song.

Dh and I hate that guy. The makeup, the screaming, everything drives us nuts. We also hate how the judges kiss his a** .It's ok for him to scream and sound like crap but when someone else does it, the judges get all critical and compare everything to the amazing Adam.

I don't like him either! His screaming into the mike is so shrill...it's just a bit much. I should have voted last night for Danny and Kris but I was too lazy to pick up the phone!

Ooh ooh, I hate Adam too! I'm normally quite the AI fanatic but I've been really frustrated these last couple of weeks because they're pimping Adam so much.

I don't like the tone of his voice. I don't like his tongue screech. I don't like what he's done to his songs. And, the only reason people think he's so attractive is because he's wearing so much makeup that it's hiding his imperfections. I also think he's way too full of himself.

One more thing (you can't tell I've thought about this, right? lol), I think Adam is a performer, meant for stages, to be seen. I think he's bored otherwise. He likes the drama of it all (not a put-down, just an observation) and I think he'll get bored in the studio.
