LO's losing hair - normal?

in Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Ben was born with a full head of hair, but over the last week or so it has thinned out/fallen out on top of his head.  The rest looks the same, but he almost has a bald spot on the top. 

The scalp isnt irritated or anything.  Normal, or reason to be concerned?

    Totally normal.  Morgan has been shedding for the last two weeks, coincedentally so have I.  I had to take the cat hair roller to his white shirt the other day, lol.

    Yup, that's totally normal. Typically, the hair that babies are born with fall out and are replaced by new hair. So, no worries, he's not going bald or anything :)

    Yes - you and baby will lose hair. It's a blast. A still doens't have as much hair as she was born with...

    Its normal. A lot of times they lose it where their head lays on the mattress. It will grow back soon

    Apparently it's normal, because my DD was born with a full head of hair and everyone keeps asking me if she's lost any of it yet. So far she hasn't, but I was told it was totally normal.

    Totally normal.  DD lost all of the hair on top of her head and had just a little ring around the bottom/back.  We joked that she looked like a little old man.

    Normal. My LO was born with a full head of hair and now she's practically bald!!

    Yep, completely normal! Sometimes it comes back a totally different color and texture, too! My nephew was born with brown straight hair and at four mos. old it came in white blond and curly.  My dd had curly black hair when she was born, and now it is very straight and light brown with blond streaks.
