There are some decent sales on some of the hard drive ones so I'm thinking we might get one of those. It says DVD/Mini DVD ones only hold 30-60 minutes of video per disc on average. The hard drive ones seem so much more convenient.

I'm interested in what people have to say, too! Last time I owned a video camera, you used the mini cassettes! I'm thinking the hard drive ones would be more convenient as well.

I have a DVD that I love, but I was thinking about moving on to a HD camcorder. Mostly because my camcorder broke. But DH works with electronics and is pushing for a HD one, so go for it!
We just got the Sony hard drive one after our Samsung mini vhs one crapped out after less than four years.
We absolutely love the hard drive video camera! Ours came with a free extra battery and an additional 8G memory card. It easily downloads to my computer and then I can upload them to Snapfish and share with no problems.
