So Sara was trying to open a bottle. (An empty baby shampoo one) She was struggling and getting frustrated, close to tears. She's trying to be so?independent, so I didn't want to interfere. I asked her if she wanted help, and she looked up and clearly said "Help" and handed it to me. She's picking up new words so quickly now, it is amazing.?
Re: Brag about your kid.... go....
ds is counting to 5 and starting to form sentences. picking up words left and right
dd can write an "L" now, can recognize some small words like "red", "dog" , "cup". She sounds out letters but doesn't always put them together to figure out the word.
Parker is so sweet in the mornings. I will go to get him from his crib and he will hug me and pat my back. It makes my heart melt.
At night, after storytime, he will go to his crib, try to climb in, and put himself to sleep like a big boy. I'm so proud of him.
Oh yeah, and he's gorgeous. Did I mention that?
Carson can count to 3 "one, wwooo, theee" he is saying new words everyday seems like, last night he pointed to the fridge and said "milk" he can go up and down the steps pretty good and i never taught him that, i think he got that one from his grandparents house. and at daycare his teachers say he is very well behaved, gabs up a storm and helps the teacher with lunches all the time (it's a privlage for good behavior).
haha ours has 16 i think, but Aiden always just says "one, two, free, one two, free..."
aaaaawwwww, i love it! how sweet!
my sil also watches a little girl and has watched her since she was 3 months old (she is 11 months now), Carson is about 9 months older and has always been so sweet to her. strokes her head, brings her toys when she is crying, it breaks my heart that i never get to see it but it warms my heart to know he is being sweet!
BrittneyCC - your story melted my heart!!
Dana has memorized soooo many books! I love that I can just open a page and ask her "What does this page say?" and she can tell me.
DS drew this on the bottom of the bathtub the other night:
I looove these threads and reading about proud Mommies and what their DC are up to!
This was me when I was Dana's age! lol. I would open a book and recite it from memory. People would freak out b/c they thought I could read. So funny.
