I adore this name. If it wasn't for the nn Josie which I hate I would have this at the top of our list. Another similar name I also really like is Jacinda. It is an "older" name but Lord willing your baby will one day be an old person!
I know a 6-year-old named Jocelyn so no, I definitely don't think of it as an "old" name. I think it's a beautiful name. I don't know how you'd spell it, but her friends sometimes call her Jossie/Joci.

I really like Jacinda too! I thought I was the only one. My husband looked at me incredulously when I sprung it on him, though. Suffice to say, it's not a contender.
