    Okay, so that was a really pointless post.

    I guess what I should do is ask any moms - did anyone else have small "freak outs" or mini panic attacks close to their due dates?

    I'm excited to meet her, yet terrified that I will screw up her life :S

    I'm going to head off now, but if anyone does have any advice on how I can calm down a bit and focus more on the EXCITMENT and ignore the nervousness...please share, I'll be back to read later!

    Yes.  Many, many freak outs, although mine were more towards the beginning of the third tri rather than at the end. 

    If I haven't screwed my kids up yet, then you will be fine.  Wink

    Plus the moment you meet her things will fall into place and you'll wonder why you were so worried.  It's a magical feeling.

    I just wanted him out at that point.  I'm still terrified I'm going to screw it up, but somehow I dont think that will ever go away.  You will be fine.  I promise.  Big Smile

    YeaY! You're almost there. You must be soooo excited!!!

    I don't have any children yet but I know TTC I have similar freak outs where my brain goes WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING!!! TRYING TO MAKE A KID!?!?! And then I think about how it will completely change DH's and my life and I get really scared and nervous. Then for a little bit I think... o maybe we should wait a little longer...but then I go back into crazy I want a baby mood in no time. Does this happen to anyone else?
