Wow, I expected it but somehow surprised (long)

My company is currently acquiring a plant in Lousiana and I have been expecting my boss to ask me to come  back early because I've heard they've been drowning (there's only three people in my department and I have the most technical background with our system).  Well today it happened my boss asked me to come back early on a part-time basis and I can't believe how surprised I am and how torn and when and how to go back.  Luckily my boss is being very flexible and I want to be to (I'm hoping I can go back and only work 4 days a week so my being flexible now might pay off).

Wow sorry I am rambling but my return to work date was 6/25 and I can be back by the end of this month.  I will definately enjoy our vacation to San Diego a little more next week...

    I am sorry you have to go back before you are ready, that's a bummer and I know what that feels like.

    San DIego is Awesome I must say!  Have fun!

    You will do fine. I Had to go back to work when DD was only 8 weeks and i went back four days the first week then cut back to three. I wish i could have waited longer but i think it was harder on me than her... and my SO stays home with her while i am at work, it has been great for the two of them to bond!

    I was supposed to go back 7/15 but started back today b/c they asked me to come back early to cover for a girl going out on maternity leave.  I agreed to go back on an as needed basis until 7/15 at which point they are letting me cut back to 3 days a week instead of starting back full time.  I figure it was worth going back a few hours a week to end up working part time. .

    Good luck I know it is a difficult decision.

    about 1 hour North of Fresno and 1/2 hour south of Modesto

    I believe Farmerville!?!?  It was a Pilgram's Plant
