I was selected for a trial....

I had jury duty today and I was hoping and praying I wouldn't get picked.  Of course I do and the trial may go all the way into next week.....great!!

    oh my! are you breastfeeding? either way, that does suck.  i hope that it settles the day of the trial, that's very common.

    Well, not to barf sunshine and puppies on you, but it may be really interesting! I found myself on a rape trial jury when I was pregnant and was so annoyed because of the need to pee every ten minutes, but it turned out to be a really interesting experience and I actually felt really proud that I got to participate in the democratic process. And you get a little break from the regular work week. AND they hardly ever last more than a couple days.?

    Ugg, I'm sorry. But I like raya's attitude- hopefully she is right and it will be a fun trial where you can stick it to a really mean criminal!!
