DH is still learning...

**warning - mini vent ahead** 

how to deal with girls.  Had to tell DH that getting the same thing for me AND his mother for mother's day is a major faux pas...  I know exactly what he was thinking too - "I'm here to get her a gift anyway it will save a trip!"  Oh and also that spending the day with MIL (who I don't like) is not what I wanted to do even if they got me a rather nice locket (and how sad is it they got me a far superior gift than DH) ...I'd agreed to brunch, not a whole day thing where I still had to get up early, get no sleep, and spend time dealing with crazy people.

Argh...my first mom's day kind of sucked.  LO was adorable and laughed for me though :)

    My DH knows that if he doesn't know what to get me then it's best to just let me pick it out myself. So, I got a white gold ring with DD birthstone and I love it! I'd be pretty upset if he got the same gift for me and his mom too. That's not even trying!
