i think mucinex is making me tired

So I'm taking a generic mucinex to help w/ CM this cycle since clomid can be known to impede it.  but I've been feeling so sleepy today.  i thought it was really helping the last 2 days but today has been pretty dry....so I don't know what's up.

    Mucinex never works for me. Try green tea...You will have TONS of CM.

    I took Mucinex for 4 days before O this month, but I only took one pill a day and it didn't make me tired at all.  How many pills are you taking?

    The generic is only 400mg guaifenesin where mucinex is 600mg.  I have been taking them as directed on the package approx every 4 hrs.  It is also not an extended release tablet like the mucinex.  Maybe that's too much.  it's doesn't seem to be helping CM today anyway.

    Yea. I buy the 16 oz bottles of Lipton Green Tea w/ citrus. If it only gives you a little bit drink the whole bottle everyday instead of half.

    Wow, really? only one bottle?  I was expecting to have to drown myself in green tea to make it work. I'll give it a try for sure.  It can't hurt.  I'll try anything to try to make this cycle as successful as possible.  Now if only my ovaries cooperate & let go of an egg.

    I'm kind of worried this stuff is actually drying me out today.  My eyes are super dry, although maybe their allergens in the air, but I don't usually get dry eyes.  Well, green tea here I come!  I'm going to the grocery store in a few minutes to load up.
