1st Trimester
Surprise Surprise ... You're pregnant again!
Ok ... So I have an 11-year-old son, a 10-year-old son, and an 11-month-old daughter. I have been on the pill since she turned 6-weeks-old. In March my period came 2 weeks late, so I didn't know when to start my pill back. This weekend ... we found out I'm pregnant again.
Both my husband and I are in a bit of a state of shock. Not that we don't want baby #4, quite the contrary, we are now very happy about it (after the initial shock). His brother and sister-in-law are expecting their first baby in August, and my brother and sister-in-law are trying (thus far unsuccessfully) to get pregnant with their 3rd baby. We are planning to wait as long as possible to spill the beans (before our daughter was born, we suffered through 2 miscarriages).
I'm sure we're not the only ones out there ... any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Feb 2009: 200mg Clomid = BFP! on March 20, 2009 - It's a BOY!
Nov 26th 2009: Aidan Michael, 20.5" 7lb12oz
Feb 2010: Start TTC again, the old fashioned way
Mar - June 2011: Clomid 100mg
July 2011: Unmedicated cycle = BFP! on August 29th, 2011
Nov 6th 2011: m/c due to subchorionic hematoma
Dec 2011: Start TTC again, unmedicated
February 12th, 2012: BFP! EDD 10/23/12
Mar 12th 2012: diagnosed as blighted ovum

Congratulations! What a great surprise! I was nervous also about having a preg so soon after my first, and I did have a chemical preg the month before I got pg with this one

I'm not sure I have any real advice for you. We are also surprised by our pregnancy this time around. We had planned for a third child, it just happened much sooner than we anticipated. We also had 2 m/c's before our DS was born. It has been an adjustment so far, and it hasn't helped that this pregnancy has been very hard. We're just focusing on the end result - a (hopefully) healthy baby.

i'm expecting number 4 and my dd is 8 months old right now. i went off of my evil pill and we were kind of not trying not avoiding. but i "never" expected it to happen so soon! it took quite a bit of trying with #s 2 and 3!
i'm excited but a little shocked at how tired i am this time around. i mean, like...i feel like i could doze off at any given second!

It's very thoughtful of you to be hesitant to share your good news! I'd be blabbing it like crazy! Maybe tell them with a little "good things come in threes" afterward in hopes that they'll be successful, too.
