    Is that for a wedding?  I had to wear something similar for a Vietnamese wedding- it was called an Oyi (sp?) but I was lucky that it was actually a beautiful outfit.

    megs - I have to wear this next week for a Sikh wedding.  It's an anarkali.  And yes, they do make prettier ones - this one isn't one of those.  I am having it tailored as I type.  They had to take in like 2 1/2" on each side.

    Have you had any alterations done yet? Maybe they will help a little... is your seamstress , by chance, the fairy godmother from Cinderella? lol.

    If it's any consollation, I think you look as good as anyone could possibly look in that dress! I'm sure the wedding will be very pretty! You'll def. have to post some pics!

    I'm in a wedding this weekend, and I'm the worst bridesmaid.  I don't even know if my shoes fit yet.  Thankfully, she let us pick out our own dresses (black, knee length).  Oh, I also need to see if I can pin down my nursing tank/bra where the V neck ends in the front.  At least your dress gives you full coverage!  :)
