at three weeks Post Partum no less. it's always a good sign when you immediately focus on your weight instead of your new baby.
margaret_howell:
Do you breastfeed? I was taking alli before getting preggo, and now that DD is born I was going to ask my Dr. about using it again. I didn't know if I wouldn't be able to while breastfeeding.
Re: are people REALLY this dumb in the world? taking ALLI while breastfeeding??
LMAO!
Haha! Isn't that called an Alli-oops?
lol, I knew you'd see that Mod.... Seriously, you kinda NEED to get enough fat in your diet while breastfeeding! NO one is supposed to drop weight too fast after baby even if you're not BF'ing. It should take you just as long to take it off as it did to put it on, ie about 8-9 months.
Yeah and that stuff also prevents you from absorbing the fat-soluable vitamins you need while you are BF'ing (lol, especially if she got pregnant again since she can't tell when DH is wearing a condom)! She's literally depriving her children by taking that stuff.
Here's a thought - why not eat a balanced diet and the appropriate portion size? No way, that would make too much sense....
I would never take Alli because of the um, unfortunate, side effects, but it really is a brilliant (and disturbing) example of Pavlovian conditioning. Person sees yummy, fattening food, then thinks of the anal leakage that will result in eating said food, person is conditioned to avoid the food. No thanks anyway.
Wait I didnt see the 500 calorie a day diet - who the hell can eat only 500 calories....what do you eat on this diet? Can you even think straight on 500 calories?
I would die. Seriously. I would.
Okay - I am limiting my calorie take to 1375 and it is killing me and half the time I go over by about 200 calories...so seriously what is this girl eating?
me too. even on cuckoo shows like The Biggest Loser they're still eating at least 2 times that much. (they start at a calorie intake of 6x their weight.)
