Most of the time I'm excited, but I have to admit that there are some days where I feel pretty overwhelmed. I can't believe that I'm going to be a mommy! I just stare at my belly and think, 'Wow! I can't believe I'm growing a baby in there!"

But then I see a little baby on TV or at Whole Foods and I get all excited again. Smile

I totally agree. It's crazy. Last week I was like "I can't believe I'm pregnant!" You'd think I'd be used to it by now. Smile

Lol, I totally get what you're saying! When I think about him already being here, I get excited & anxious but when I think about the actual enormity of giving birth & all that that entails, it just makes me really nervous & scared. I'm sure everybody feels that way. It's going to be so much fun & so different!

ME TOO! I stop and think sometimes - am I going to be a good mother, what if I don't have this when I need it and he's screaming his head off - he's going to hate me and cry whenever I hold him ... ughh, it IS overwhelming! I do get excited whenever I'm walking through the baby aisles at the grocery store, target, wal-mart, etc. too, it's just crazy to think that in less than 3 months I'll be holding my son! Surprise

Same here! My DH gets annoyed when I say it though

He has felt it was real since the beginning but I haven't. Even after hearing the heartbeat for the first time, the first sonogram, and then finding out it's a girl I still can't believe it! I know she is there but I still don't believe she will be in my arms in a few short months.

My husband said that he had his freak out moment at 3 months. I told him the other night that I was still in shock that we were going to have a baby he said, 'Don't worry, you'll get over it. I did!" haha

That's so funny because it was the exact opposite for my DH and I! Once we put the crib together, he looked at me and said something to the effect of "this feels more real now, doesn't it?" The images of my head hanging in the toilet flashed through my mind and all I could say was "it's felt pretty real for a while to me!"

Oh, tell me about it!

I just said this to MH last night when I was going to bed. It's just hard to get my head around how this little person that's growing in my belly is going to be living in out house and pretty much taking over our lives lol

I have been feeling like that a lot lately. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed and kind of freaked out. But I am still really happy and excited all at the same time.

I don't know, maybe she needs to be born before it really really sinks in!

Same here!! It's nuts!! I mean...I haven't even been married a year before this baby will be here!! We didn't waste no time...which is what we wanted...but still....I thought it would be at least a couple years down the road of trying. I almost feel bad that I'm not more excited about the baby...b/c there are so many people trying to get pregnant sooo badly, wanting a baby sooo bad, and it just happened for us, without even trying....I'm sure once I see my little man, I will be very excited.
