SATC, you've done me wrong!!

It's easy to get consumed by IF and get really down. ?Stupid things like watching Sex and the City and other "mindless" shows help get me through the bad times and help me smile. ?Well, I turned it on yesterday and it was the episode where Charlotte is dealing with IF. ?Et tu SATC??? ?Honestly now, even in my escape tv I can't avoid IF!!!

    At least it's pretty realistic in the show. (Well, as much as I've seen in a show like that.) It's worse in the movie where she has a miracle pregnancy after adopting her little girl and "relaxing."

    I was SO mad at that scene. SO mad. I then had to educate my friend who I saw it with about the statistics of that really happening. She knows someone who that actually happened to. I wanted to throw my drink at the screen.

    While I was also very annoyed at that scene, it also now makes absolutely no sense considering the news lately about SJP's problems with conception and use of a surrogate.  As an executive producer on this movie, who has stated in a number of interviews about her passion for being authentic to the city, I would have expected her to have exercised her influence to make it more true-to-life when they chose to make Charlotte pregnant.
