Now that it is all done I just love it in there! Its so peaceful and I love the colors and just looking around in there makes me so excited about how soon our little guy will be here!! I am actually excited to sit in there and fold his last little load of laundry and put it away!

i sit in our nursery every day when i get home and watch the news in the glider. it's so relaxing, but it makes me SO anxious for her to get here!!!

I love sitting in the rocking chair for an hour or so looking out the window. Its so peaceful. DH always peeks on me when I do it. He hung up the wall hangings yesterday. I think he is more excited than I am. LOL

We have not started our nursery yet, but we have pretty much cleaned out the room. There is a table in there that I used to do scrapbooking on, that is right under the window. My dogs love going in there, b/c they get on the table and look out the window at the cars. I go in and sit on the floor and just let them look out the window, and I get to imagine everything. We have the crib in there now and it is assembled, but not in the right place- we are going to start painting soon. I cant wait...

I'm glad I am not the only one that does this, teehehe...

Our nursery is sooo much nicer than our room! lol A friend of mine gave me the "Happiest Baby on the Block" book and I've been in there reading the last few nights. It's also helping to get our cat over the novelty of the room, I figure the more I'm in there now the less she'll be interested in in later.

Mine is all ready to go and it makes me anxious just walking by it. I have 9 more days left and I still can't imagine finally putting Peyton in her little bed. I am soooooooo ready. I love the smell of Dreft from her clothes!!!!! I am a sicko....I actually used Johnson's baby lotion on my 4 year old after her bath just because i was anxious to smell that baby smell again. SHe was like "mom, why are you putting baby lotion on me and not my big girl lotion?" Sorry baby, mommy has new baby fever and temporarily lost her mind. But it smells so good.

that's awesome! I wish I had a nursery to sit in instead of a mostly emptied junk room waiting on the rest of the cleaning, painting and furniture to come in.

That and I still haven't decided on a glider, so there's nothing to sit in. I really need to get rolling here..

we just placed an order for our glider this past weekend at a furniture store, and it won't be here until late june. that said, if i did already have it, i would probably be sitting in the nursery a lot too. i like to open the door and look around. it makes me really happy! i haven't washed his stuff yet, so the bedding isn't on, but once it is, i'm sure it will be even more exciting.

LOL Oh my gosh that cracks me up!! If it makes you feel any better, I'll just put it on myself and sniff to get my little craving satisfied! I'm like a druggie addicted to baby smell!

I like to sit in there in the glider in the evenings. It is really relaxing. I turn on the mobile, too, and listen to the music and watch the light show (our mobile projects a light show on to the ceiling, it's really cool).

Ugh, so jealous! Right now our 'nursery' is just an empty room with no carpet and painted walls. Our carpet is finally coming (fingers crossed) tomorrow and our furniture is taking forever to come in! I can't wait until it's all done...I see it in my head and only hope it looks as good in real life Stick out tongue
