Remember when I said I spph my lawyer?

Yeah, I take it back. ?I made a suggestion LOOONG ago about maybe being open to going to mediation with DS's (Cameron) dad to try to work out a custody arrangement. This was contingent on him being willing to share costs and IF he was willing to not consider joint custody. Also this was also before the death threats last week.

Well, I just got an order in the mail from the Court that she filed (on May 7th!) and not only am I required to go and pay for mediation (@$150/hour) but I have to go to parenting classes with him as part of this. ?Uhhh...Wha? ? I NEVER told you that's what I want to do.?

She better fix this sh!t or she is soo fired. ?

    That sucks. ?Parenting classes with someone making death threats doesn't sound like a very good idea. ?I hope she fixes it.

    Also, that's really scary about the death threats. ?:(?

    Yeah I would think she should be taking care of getting you out of that. Especially with the death threats and other issues.
    But I might start looking for a new lawyer if I was you - just in case.

    In my state, parenting classes are mandatory for every person in a visitation/custody action, but you don't have to do them together. After the threats, you shouldn't have to be anywhere near him, including mediation. Were you able to get the restraining order?

    Schwandy that's awful! I would think in light of the recent threats your lawyer would be working on getting you sole custody as well as getting you out of any sort of interaction with your ex. Hang in there sweetie!
