My Mother's Day...

So I didn't really think this Mother's Day would be all that amazing. My DS C made me the cutest present at school, but I had a feeling DH wouldn't be all there. He got 4 wisdom teeth and 1 molar pulled on Friday. So I knew I would be pretty much taking care of him all this weekend. And honestly I was ok with it since he has been doing a great job taking care of me. And I know once baby comes he will do the same.

Well I got a card in the mail on Saturday from my Nana with $25 telling me Happy Mother's Day, then my Mom brought me flowers and card. So sweet!

This morning I made breakfast for the kids and I. DH still was in pain, so I let him rest. Then we went to MIL, gave her present...she got me a card and the kids had bought me a card too. Then we went to my Mom's and gave her her presents. I thought that was the end, but DS J gave me his present he made at school. It was a poem saying how I was the world's best Mom and he actually used the word Mom. He is 10 and told me he would never call me Mom. So for him to do that, it meant so much. Then DH surprised me with his gift.....a shih tzu puppy! I have been wanting one for sometime. And she is so adorable. All in all, a great Mother's Day. Oh and Ryder has been kicking me off the hook I think to tell me Happy Mother's Day too lol. =]
