How long before you Conceived were you on Pre-Natal Vitamins?

Hi ladies,

What brand of Pre-Natal Vitamins prescription and non-prescription would you recommend?  And how long before you conceived were you on them?

    I bought over the counter prenatal vitamins and Expecta DHA when I was trying.  After I conceived, my doctor prescribed OB Complete, which left me with extreme constipation, so she prescrived Prenatal 19, which is working better.  I still use the Expecta DHA from Enfamil with the prenatals.

    I started using an over the counter prenatal vit as soon as I stopped taking the pill.  the summer before... so about a year... but I had been taking women's one a day which has the same amt of folic acid as the OTC prenatals.

    I only took folic acid while trying to concieve...3 months it took! Then I got on prenatal vitamins. Just over the counter brand.
