AW PIP of (almost) finished living room renovations!

our house has been a work in progress since DH bought it almost 2 years ago. we started the living room last spring when i was first pg. here are some before and after pics. DH made the new mantle and finished today. i am so proud of his work. (the hardwoods were done by a professional though!)

like i said, it's not totally finished, but this 80 year old house is a constant work in progress i am totally happy to AW what's been done so far though!

OMG- I love it! You posted the floors before, if I recall.... I remember how great they looked then, but it all looks fantastic. Well done, DH.

And yeah, I almost want to DD this before I even post it, b/c who the hell (non-crazy) remembers what anyone's HW floors look like? Freak. But whatever. Your room looks great.

ugh. it is so sad how true this is.
