Anyone deliver at St. Francis in Shakopee?

Who is your doctor? What clinic are they through?

    I don't have personal experience... but a friend of mine did suggest I consider delivering at St. Francis. She said that she got really good care, and the facilities were modern and very comfortable. She delivered there twice.

    Yes, and it was a wonderful experience- we were there almost a week and everyone was just great, and nice room too! Dr. Torkelson was wonderful from Park Nicollet. The meals are all served by the hostess who takes your order from a menu- pretty tasty food and lots of choices. Each room has a pull out chair for the father/partner. The nurses are great- very caring and upbeat. Support for BF is good with a lactation consultant easily available and knowledgeable staff. Can't say enough good things...

    Maybe I'm just having a bad experience.  I'm currently seeing Torkelson and everytime I'm there I feel like she's trying to rush me out the door.  Never really takes time to listen to my questions either.  I have heard that St Francis is a great place to deliver though...  I had two other friends that delivered there.

    My cousin did and I was there for the delivery.  It was so nice, updated, and spacious.
