Baby Showers

Advice cards as guest book?

I am throwing a shower for my brother's gf (probably soon to be sister-in-law!).  I want to make up little advice/words of wisdom cards for the guests to fill out instead of a guest book and I am going to put them all into the scrapbook that I am working on.

I'm not sure how to word the top heading of the card though.  Right now all I have is "Words for a Mother and Child".  I don't want it to be too long, but I want it to be cute and clever.  Any ideas?  Has anyone seen this done before?  How did they do it?

 Thanks!

  • There was a post about this last week I think? Try scrolling through the older posts (there aren't that many per week on this board) as I remember at least 4 people responded with some pretty good ideas. GL!

  • My hostess did this for me and I loved it! ?She didn't write anything on the cards, she just explained to people what she wanted them to do as they came in.

  • my hostess did this for me too & on the bottom of the card she printed a little ducky, that was the theme and on the top she printed "Dear Emma, at this special time, my advice to you is "  and then there were lines & people filled them in.
  • Thank you for all of the suggestions!
