I hate those new Pop Tart commercials

The first one was mildly annoying with it trying to say that you're a great mom if you give your young son a Pop Tart for breakfast. The newest one takes that cake - it's actually proposing that you make your kids ice cream sandwiches with Pop Tarts! I mean, I'm not a health freak, but this sounds like something that would be on thisiswhyyourefat.com.

    I don't hate the commercials, but they are a little silly. A poptart icecream sandwich sounds like something someone would eat when they're high. haha

    I love how they clearly didn't even try very hard to come up with new ways to eat poptarts: one of the *ideas* is a bowl of ice cream with a poptart stuck in it. Um.... that's all they came up with? Seriously?

    The best part is I know there was a huge group of creative people sitting in some room somewhere brainstorming for HOURS over "new uses". Poor suckers.

    I think the ice cream sandwich is something that can be appreciated by people in one of three groups:

    1. The drunk and getting out of the bar and will eat anything crowd

    2. The high as a kite and inventing flavor combos (as PP suggested)

    and lastly

    3. Pregnant women with BSC cravings. Poutine was created this way too...?
