I always look because a tiny part of me is worried about my son -- we have some family history of autism (Asperger's Syndrome), and he's much less social than his sister. He's been evaluated (he was in PT for some gross motor delays relating to reflux and torticollis) and they say he's right on track socially and physically, but it's always in the back of my mind, especially since I know a lot of ASD symptoms don't show until the kids are more verbal.
So, I lurk to learn. Hope you guys don't mind too much
Don't mind at all. I am just being a bit cheeky today and having fun (it's a coping mechanism, i think!), and I hope that didn't come across as snarky.
I hope that you get the information you need and that regardless of the outcome of your child's symptoms, that you find the right care to help him be the best of his ability, ASD or no ASD.
