Today at his doctors appointment he told me not to use any lotion or cremes (with the exception of Destin as needed) on DS until he was 1 month old.
So, what do I do about his lil feet that appear to be cracking and/or really dry? An older lady at our infant class a few weeks ago said OLIVE OIL?! That sounds wierd to me... Im so inexperienced!!
I guess I should have asked the dr today..
TIA
Re: No lotion?
Really? I never heard this. I was told Aquaphor was okay, but DS didn't have dry skin his first month anyway.
I guess that makes sense. I just hate to ignore it! I dont think its uncomfortable for him though.
I used Aveeno from the first time I bathed him. Our family has dry skin and eczema.
Olive oil is very good for your skin, hair, and nails. I use it in DD's and DS's hair to keep their scalp from drying out.
Maybe? I had no clue you couldnt use things in the first month. I spent so much time thinking of useless stuff to research. Looking back, I wish I would have researched things like this! And, Im only into day 4! lol
