So nbd - but work vent

We just got a memo saying that if wanted to keep plants in out office, we have to pay $10 a month!  WTF?  That is the craziest thing I've seen in a while.

    Wow. I thought my school was bad. We aren't allow any coffee makers or fans. The only fridges are the one in science w/ all the dead piglets, and two others in staff rooms - for over 100 people on campus. No other electric things aside from our computers and other techy stuff.

     Perhaps you should send them a bill for $10 every month for the oxygen your plant produces?

    Too much water?? Really, that was the best thing they could come up with? Are you guys keeping up a small rain forest or something??

    I can already envision the next memo out:

    Due to restrictions in costs we are going to have to limit 5 flushes per toilet a day.  If you go over that there will be a surcharge of .35  We thank you for your cooperation.
