she gets bored so easily. 7months -what does DC do all day?

For fun? DD rotates from jumper to play mat to exersaucer, we read, go for walks ,etc. But when I'm in the house trying to get stuff done ,she gets bored quick and cries if I leave her line of sight. What can keeps your kid busy?

    We have tons of rotating toys.

    I give him teething biscuits, that keeps him busy for a while.

    He naps a lot : )

     We cuddle/I tickle his feet, etc.

    I think I've been blessed with babies who are happy enough to amuse themselves now and then. Abby has her big brother to keep her busy though, but even when my son was a baby he was pretty content to play with his toys and putter along behind me wherever I went (once he could crawl anyway).

    Abby's current obsession as far as toys go right now, is her wire and bead toy. You know the ones you push the big wooden beads around the wire structure? She loves it, and if I take it out for her I know I've got enough time to get dinner started or a bit of cleaning done.

    DD will just sit on a blanket and play with toys for awhile.  She has some books that make that squishy noise and she loves grabbing at those.  She'll also get on her belly and attempt to crawl for awhile. 

    After she eats I give her a frozen apple piece in the mesh feeder and that seriously occupys her for like 20 minutes while i do dishes or eat or whatever.

    we go to a class 4x/week, playgroup a couple times a week.  she LOVES going to the park and watching the dogs in the dog run or we talk (okay, i talk) about flowers and trees.  when we're home she occupies herself in her play area quite well with wooden spoons, bowls or toys while i'm making her meals.

    i did get a good idea off of here that we tried.  we got plain yogurt and natural food coloring and finger painted!  she thought that was the bees knees :)
