Anyone's LO have real sensitive skin?

I'm trying to find a real good hypo-allergenic baby wash to use.  His skin keeps getting little bumps on it after his bath.  We had been using Johnson & Johnson and also tried Huggies Baby Wash both do the same thing.

  • We use Cetaphil.  It is super gentle.  I'm allergic to practically everything and this is what I use and we use it for DS and he hasn't had any reaction (though I have no idea if he would with anything else).

  • I haven't tried it but Aquaphora has a body wash too...I am about to try it if the change in seasons doesn't help...
  • DS does. His pedi maintains that its not eczema, but he breaks out in a rash a lot. His pedi tells me to just try and keep his skin well hydrated.

I use cetaphil wash for his baths (not in the baby section), aquaphor at night, and cetaphil cream in the morning.

  • Thanks, I will try the cetaphil and hopefully it's gentle enough for him.  Do you use the cetaphil cream as a lotion for him then? What's the aquaphor for?  Is that a lotion as well?

That's scary,  I had been thinking of trying the Aveeno products, glad I didn't.

Yep, I use the cetaphil cream as his lotion. The aquaphor is this weird vaseline type stuff. Its really messy but really traps moisture well. The mess makes is only usable at night, and you'll have to cover him up w/a sleeper so it doesn't get smeared everywhere, but when I added that to his routine his skin vastly improved. Its in the baby aisle also.
