I attempted it with a bottle on a whim last night when he only sucked the breast for like 3 minutes and no matter how much I pointed that nipple up and whatnot, he barely sucked out more. Ugh.
If you are up for experimenting, change his pants to wake him a bit then see if he will take it. We have to do this sometimes and he still falls right back to sleep. I just laid nolan back to bed.

I was just about to page you. Ugh. I feel so bad waking him up. ?He's sooo deep in sleep but his last bottle was at 8 and it was only 4 oz because I was trying to cluster feed. ?That means if I go to bed now he will be up at 12. ?I might try the changing the diaper thing...?
My kiddo really didn't take to it until closer to 3 months. Although I don't know if what I do is really dreamfeeding - I wait for him to start rustling around like he's thinking about waking up and then I feed him.
Our DS has been sleeping since 8:45 too and I'm just going to deal with giving him the bottle in an hour or so when he wakes up. Oh well. He's not yet 6 weeks, so I'll have to deal for a couple more weeks or more. Good luck with it EFLO!
This is what I just had to do. We ate at 6:30, 8, and then I just gave him 2 more oz at 10 (thats all that he would take) and I had to change him and reswaddle him to wake him up enough to take a little more. Then he was right back asleep and back in his crib.?
I would give it a shot and see if there is any change. I dont see it hurting anything. Good luck and let me know if you have any progress!
