DD asked to get her ears pierced yesterday

I always said when she asked she could get them done.  I just didn't expect her to ask so darn soon. Crying  Why do they grow up so fast? why?

    i was 4 when i asked to get mine done and i took care of them (with a little help from my mom).  it's really not that bad...

    at least she's not asking for a belly button piercing or a tattoo...Wink

    I figure M can do it when she is able to take care of them herself and pay for them herself.

    I got mine done in 1st grade, but I had to beg my mom, so that made it feel like I had accomplished something :). She would say "are you sure? you know its going to hurt and you'll have to take care of them".

    She made sure I knew the weight of my decision and I think it was good that way.
