My old lady secretary just told me it was "WRONG" to sleep with Quinn. I asked why and then she said, in a smug way, "It's just wrong. But people raise their children differently."
F*&%!!!!!! A pox on her house!
Edited to add: Yeah, she said there would be "relationship issues" between Quinn and me. That she'd be too attached.
Re: Apparently I'm raising my baby "WRONG"
Everyone wants to be an expert I guess.
But I guess I'm wrong right along with ya!

I thought it was wrong (well not wrong - but not what I would choose to do) until I had my baby :-P

I mentioned to an older woman that we let DD sleep with us last week when she was sick. She told me I shouldn't do that b/c I'm starting a bad habit. I said, "No, I'm not worried about that at all." And then I just stood there. She didn't know what to say next, so she changed the subject.
I find that just cutting ppl off sometimes works, and I don't worry about explaining my side, I just state that I don't agree.
I can't stand people who give advice when it's not asked for. MIL does this often. She feels the same about co-sleeping as your secretary and she thinks I pick my baby up "too much." WTF?

Motherhood is the ultimate tool by which women judge each other and feel 100% justified in their opinions.
We each have our own spin on it and no kid is raised the same.
I promise to keep my opinions and my mouth as shut as possible when it comes to other moms!!!
I saw pics from 1970's of this 4/5 year old boy whith a paci - I was horrified. Didn't say anything out loud though! 5 - with a paci!
