amoxicillin

My son had an ear infection and yesterday they prescribed amoxicillin.  So far no problem but he has been napping for almost 4 hours.  He almost never sleeps more than an hour and a half sick or not.  Could it be that it made him sleepy?  I went to check on him and he is fine, but normally when I go in his room if he is sleeping he is immediately awake.  Should I be worried?

    Nah, it may be that he was not sleeping well and now that the pain has subsided he may be catching up?

    DS has been doing this the last 3 days.  He also has a bad ear infection, I wouldn't be worried, they just don't feel very good.
