Holy crap! Shipping is expensive!

So I sold our Peg Perego Triplette on ebay because I couldn't get anyone to buy it locally. I put $90 for shipping, since I paid about that when I bought the stroller.

Yeah. Not such a good estimate. It cost me $235 to ship it.

Well, I still ended up making $200 off of it, so I guess I can't complain, but HOLY SHIIT.

YIKES! Thank goodness you still made money on it. I would have been PO'd if the shipping took it over the profit! ?Shipping is so ridiculously expensive! ?So how many strollers do you have left? or are you down to the choo choo since the boys boycott strollers??

I know! It's freaking crazy! The chassis was about 45 lbs, and then I had two other big boxes that weighed probably 20 lbs each. Geesh!

I'm down to like THREE strollers plus the choo choo. Ack! I feel naked! (I have two singles and a double. ACK!)

definitely try CL first, but if you keep it in the box it comes in, it should be a LOT cheaper. also, the triplette is so much longer, and that's where most of the expense was. (just to ship the chassis was $185!)

but when i got it originally, it was only $80 in shipping, so i think if you just keep it in the original box, it should be okay.
