And I don't mean to get too serious here.
For example, mine is washing all the bottles, nipples and pump parts. We don't have a dishwasher (I know, we are crazy)....and I EBF and am still on maternity leave so its not like she is getting that many bottles- just one a night so DH can bond...Ugh! Its only going to get worse when I go back to work! More washing!
Re: What is your least favorite part of being a mom?
Kate screamed most of the day for the first 2.5 months. It's just starting to get better.
I hear ya on the bottles. We don't have a dishwasher either! (call me crazy!)
My least favorite thing is how I weigh less now than pre pg and I wear a bigger size jeans and how my feet hurt after wearing 3 inch pumps after just an hour. I am doing better with the lack of sleep than I thought I would. And the stretch marks aren't so noticible anymore. I am so used to washing bottles I don't think about it anymore. When I get a new house with a dishwasher, I will still probably hand wash them... Ok... probably not.
For me it's the crazy hormones. I had a crying fit last night cause she was screaming and crying for 20 minutes. It wasn't even that long, but I was so tired that I couldn't deal.
Whenever DD is awake, I want her asleep. Whenever DD is asleep, I want to wake her up and play. What a vicious cycle.
Oh this is a good one. I couldn't agree more.
This!
i agree! also, i hate the fact that i never have a spare second during the day. rather than getting to step outside for a breath of fresh air a few times a day, i have to spend that time pumping. i'm happy to pump for him, and i can't imagine not doing it, but at the same time it just really makes my day kind of suck...
Lack of sleep... It's still really early, but I never knew how much I LOVED my sleep and how much it affects me when I do not get enough of it!!!
I lived for her first 3 days on only 4 hours total- but now that the adreaniline (sp?) has worn off, I'm exhausted!
All of the bodily fluid... Yuck!
Never did I think I would just use my hand to catch drool or vomit so it doesn't land on our friends carpet..
At a friends house the other day, and I'm holding dd. I was wearing a little cotton sleevless dress, and she throws up all over my chest, and throw up goes down into my bra.. ugh!!
