AF is due next Tuesday and I am at 9 dpo. I'm dying to take a test right now but I know that it's to early, although I did already buy the digital early response test. If you tested early, how early and was it accurate? I feel crazy, but I was cramping (not as much the past few days), I'm exhausted, and I am having headaches (although I am trying to cut down on caffeince).
I've been lurking for awhile - this is my first post. Thanks!
Re: At what dpo did you test positive?
I tested and got my BFP at 13dpo.

I'm not sure since I wasn't charting, but somewhere in the 8-11 dpo range. If I had to guess, I'd say 9 dpo since that would have been "typical" for me.
It was very light, but clearly positive.
GL! If I were you, I'd probably wait a few more days, though. It's rare to have a positive test much before 12 dpo, especially with digitals.
11dpo was my first BFP (using non-digital tests). Then again on 13dpo and confirmed at the doctor's office at 14dpo.
I had no clue I was pregnant and felt no different than normal PMS.
I had a very weak positive at the equivalent of 11DPO, but did not have a positive digital until 13DPO. The digitals are simply not as sensitive.
I found the FRER line tests to be the most sensitive.

I got a "I think my eyes are playing tricks on me" line at 12dpo - which I counted at negative because no one else could see the line.
Then at 14dpo I got faint lines...BFP.
I got 1 very very very very faint positive and 2 negatives at 9 dpo.
I got very very faint positives at 10 dpo in the am and clear, but faint, positives that evening.
If you can't handle a negative, don't test early.

BTW - the downside to testing early is being so early. Sounds dumb, but I didn't relax at all until after my period was due, because I was so freaked out about it possibly being a chemical pregnancy.
If you wait until AF is due, you cut one set of worries out entirely.

I tested negative in the morning. We had plans to have some drinks with friends that same night, so I tested again after work to clear my conscious before whooping it up. I got a faint line! Had to be sneaky with my Mocktails that night
