  wash cloth...my mom calls it a wash rag.

  I say both, although I tend to say rag more. When I worked at a daycare we had to do a ton of cleaning and my boss HATED when I said rag. She asked me to stop saying it around her she hated it so much.

  I say wash cloth if it's in good condition, rag if it's tattered and torn.

  i usually say wash cloth, but rag is so much easier to type and means the same thing to me.

  Never really thought about it before, but I say wash cloth and DH says wash rag. Huh.

  I say wash cloth.  A rag is something I wash the car or dust furniture with.  Also, dish cloths are what I wash the dishes and counters in the kitchen with.
  

  DH calls them bath cloths and it drives me crazy.

  Wash cloth. ?To me a rag is something old that you clean the house with, or wipe up spills.

  Wash cloth/face cloth are the same to us.

  A Rag, is a Rag, and usually came from old clothing...

  I say both but probably say wash cloth more frequently. 

  From miscarriages, a diagnosis of a bicornuate uterus, and fibroid removal surgery...It's been quite the journey but it was all well worth it.
