Middle of the night feeding then diaper change?

Who hates to change their LO's diaper after a middle-of-the-night feeding?

ME!!! It always wakes her up and forces me to dance her back to sleep! Once she's sleeping again, I lie there for a good 10-15 minutes trying to get back to sleep myself!

    We always do the diaper change first, and then the feeding, so he can go right back to sleep after he's been fed. Works great :)

    If DS hasn't pooped and his diaper isn't full, I don't change it.  Lots of sleepless nights because of waking DS up for that diaper change adjusted how we do things.

    Have you tried changing her diaper & then feeding her? That's what I do & baby boy falls asleep while he's eating & goes right back to bed..

    I HATE it.........but I change first and then feed because he falls asleep at end of feeding.  Selfishly, I just can't wake him up.  Unless he poops.........

    I won't change it unless it seems really full. Bad I know, but he'll just fall asleep nursing w/o the diaper change.

    I would change my LO first but she always goes when she is being fed...it's like clockwork.  I understand though....it wakes my LO up every time!

    I do this exactly- although my husband changes the diaper and then brings her back to me to finish feeding.  I normally use the bathroom while he is changing her.
