Fried Pickles.

mmmm.

I've been craving them for a week now. ?I finally broke down and got them from the BBQ place next to base. ?I got a salad too, in my head it kind of balances it. ??

    OMG - at the Minnesota state fair, they had two pickles with cream cheese between them, and deep fried together like a sandwich.

    And hot sauce to dip in.

    Mouth is watering...

    There's a place called Tyler's taproom 'round these parts and they serve

    Fried pickle chips - amazing!

    Fried pick spears

    and get this... Fried Olives...

    It all sounds weird but they are soooo good... I'm jealous.

    I would like to try them , but have never seen them sold anywhere. I love pickles now, I had 5 the other nite. I thought it was a myth but guess not :)

    I got a "fried platter" and my salad.

    The platter has the fried pickles, fried okra and onion straws. ? I'll leave some okra and onion for the DH but the pickles are mine. ?They are so good.. they are battered in the onion straw batter, so they are a little spicy (like a bloomin' onion or something). ?They do the pickle chips/slices.. this other place does whole spears.

    I'm a pickle expert. ?LOL ??

    UUUHHHG! You guys are killing me! I'm originally from the midwest and LOVE fried pickles. However, now that hubby and I live in CA I have yet to find a place that has them ::big giant sad face::

    They are soooo good. The only 'chain' restaurant that has them that I know of is Hooters....you can even order them to go.

    Here in TX....Texas Land & Cattle has them as well as Longhorn Cafe. My hubby got me hooked on them! I ate a pregnant amount of pickles even before I was pregnant.?

    They are best served with spicy ranch dressing!! Now I want some.?
