Help with my gender reveal

in 2nd Trimester

This weekend we are having a cookout for my mom and MIL.  We are going to do the cake with blue frosting in the middle to tell them what we are having.

    I think they would figure it out if you wrote "Happy Grand-Mother's Day" on the cake.  But either one is cute...

    hmm...I saw it on GP and my friend did it for her family.  Whoever came up with it was smart though!

    Oooh I like this idea!

    I was going to suggest this too.  Or "Happy Mother's Day, Grandmas".  Anything with cake is the best idea IMO!!!

    It's ok- she got the idea from another bumpie and doesn't mind sharing. I'm doing the same thing at my shower to reveal (both to us and to our families) what we're having, only with the colored icing on the inside instead of the outside.

    Yes- it wasn't my idea! What was original about ours is that we did this to surprise OURSELVES, not family. But, either way, it's a great idea that I recommend for anyone! Smile
