These cramps are killers

in 1st Trimester
Not only did they wake me several times last night, but now I've been doubled over in my chair at work for the last 5 minutes. I'm cranky and I want to go crawl in a hole. nft.

    Oh my goodness I just posted about being worried about cramps.  I'm 4 weeks along too, is that cramping normal?

    Yes. It's normal. Although mine don't leave me doubled over. They are just like AF cramps. Everyone's different though.

    July 2011: Unmedicated cycle = BFP! on August 29th, 2011
    Nov 6th 2011: m/c due to subchorionic hematoma
    Dec 2011: Start TTC again, unmedicated
    February 12th, 2012: BFP! EDD 10/23/12
    Mar 12th 2012: diagnosed as blighted ovum

    There was also a post about it yesterday. I'm fairly sure it is normal. Mine are extremely painful and last for at least 5 minutes at a time.

    Not to scare you..but have you seen your doctor about those.  Cramps are normal.  But cramps like you are describing can be a bad sign.  I would call your doctor ASAP!!!

    OUCH. We should start a group for this, lol. Mine are so incredibly painful sometimes I cry! They get much worse at night, and I haven't been able to get a good night's sleep in over a week because of them. 

    When I called my doc about it, she told me I could take Benadryl to help me sleep, and that was perfectly safe. I've done it once, and will definitely do it again tonight!

    Hope you all feel better, and that these don't last long for all of us.

    I'm 6wks and mine are a lot worse than they were, going into my legs too.

    I've had cramps, but they haven't made me double over. They've felt more like just AF-type cramps.

    If your cramping is causing alot of pain, it may be worth it to contact your doctor.
