If my LO is not totally out, he will not let me lay him down. We wakes right up and screams until I pick him up. Will this ever change? Also I have to lay him on his tummy, bc of previous spinal surgery. So if I give him his paci he just moves his face until it falls out. Any help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks
Re: What age would your LO let you lay them down drowsy, but awake?
DD would go down like this for naps 0-3 months. At three months she stopped and I felt like I lived in the rocking chair for a month! At four months we taught her to self soothe (she too would spit out the paci, now she's a thumb sucker) and now she goes down fully awake. I'm careful not to overstimulate and to watch for her sleep cues. That helps me to put her down fuss free.
