I understand wanting to get to the 2nd tri, but I don't see what they'd have to talk about over here. There is such a difference between 10 weeks and 14 weeks.

I agree with this 100%! There is still stuff at almost 15 weeks that I feel out of the loop about...

I saw that also. Even at 13 weeks, you can't really relate to the majority of posts on 2nd tri. I can't imagine at 10 weeks!
Now that I'm feelig the baby, have a bump, and know what we are having I feel like I belong here more. Before, I just felt like I couldn't relate to much.

not to mention 10 weeks and 25 weeks.
The same can be said for 14 weeks to 25 weeks!!!
As long as they don't post stupid questions, I could careless.

Yes, 14 and 25 weeks are different, but we are all in the 2nd tri. If people are coming over to the 2nd tri boards at 10 weeks the bump might as well make one big "I'm pregnant" board.
also, the second and third tri post on the first and no one rolls their eyes on them. I think if the questions and comments are normal than it's fine. if they are premature than they should go back or get flammed or what ever.. .
I still feel weird posting here! I had less than a month in 1st tri since I found out so late that I was pregnant. In my mind, I should be in 1st tri. If I have a stupid question, I still head over there!
But everyone on this board posts all over the place, 2nd tri posts on first and then lurks over to 3rd tri early. I'm just saying there is really no point in complaining about it, we can't stop it.
And if we try..............we'll probably be banned! LOL

And 10 wks and 25 weeks. Im starting to get antsy to move over to 3rd Tri, but i'll hold out!

I can only imagine. I am content for now, but I have another 9 weeks left until 3rd tri!
Oh my! I never understood jumping early. As pp have said, when I came over at 13w3d I felt like I was entering a whole new world of baby nurseries, big u/s tests, baby movement questions and glucose tests. It wasn't until 17 or so weeks that I even felt comfortable with most of the questions and comments.
I think the other trend is that by the end, you start feeling out of place too because of all the new faces. If we all moved when we felt like it, I might leave 2nd tri now. But I'm waiting like the rest of everyone else. Stay where you belong and come over in 2nd tri!
If that was how the bump forums were intended to be, why did the seperate them in to different categories for different levels of PG/TTC/ etc...?
Use discretion and stay relevant to the header topics of the board. As long as a member sticks to that, they can post on any of the boards on the bump. This does not equate to a friendly welcome from each board you visit - however members can post wherever they'd like.
So we can post on what ever board we choose, we just can't post whatever we choose. Good to know.
If you're visiting a board that does not match your stage of pregnancy/TTC and it is not a board you frequent, it is wise to stick to the topics within that board in order to receive a friendlier welcome. Lurk first. However, this is not a rule.
As long as it stays friendly, a member can post on any board. In second tri we don't always stick to discussing ultrasounds and baby movements. Sometimes we just want to know who won American Idol last night. You can discuss any topic you'd like.

They should wait, IMO.

Sure. However, if you look at the top of the 2nd tri board, it says
"Talk about testing, baby kicks, ultrasounds and the rest of mid-pregnancy with fellow Bumpies."
I wonder how 1st tri-ers can relate to that.
