maternity bathing suit?

Hi all!

I'm gearing up for "bathing suit season," and was just wondering what you all were planning to buy in terms of maternity swimwear! Do you plan to get a bikini and just "let it all hang out?" :-) Or, do you plan to specifically buy a maternity suit? Either way, where do you think you'll buy from? Hubby and I going to Maui in July (around 24 weeks-ish), and I just want to look cute! :-)

Also wearing a bikini and letting it all hang out- mostly because I hate how fabric feels when it clings to my stomach after I get it wet. And well because I have no shame and also live in a town (with a beach) FULL of pregnant woman. This is the only time I will say HOORAY for living in a military town!

I found a couple of cute tankini's at Target. Some where maternity, some weren't but were just longer in the front. I bought a couple to get ready for this summer.

I just bought a bikini that I love (from Target), and haven't had a chance to wear it yet. I plan on just wearing that, even when the belly starts getting big. I also got a sheer zebra stripe wrap from Academy (in case my booty grows).

Now, if my bloat doesn't turn into a bump soon, that's a different story. In that case, I will be avoiding the beach completely.

First time around I just wore my regular bikini and let it all hang out. This time I think I'm getting a tankini, as my belly feels a bit squishier.

I am getting a tankini. If I get squishy first before the bump pops out, no one wants to see that.

I am more prone to stretch marks too. But I love seeing pregnant bellies hanging out so either way is good.

So I am onthe search as well. Live in a beach town and love it. My problem is I am a bigger girl, so now the bloating just makes me look and feel gross! I am covering it up. On the hunt for a good, cute tankini with shorts or a skirt.

Definitely a bikini, that's always been my dream to be the cute pregnant lady rockin the bikini with a big belly hanging out!! I am having a very hard time finding a "maternity" bikini though, you can find tons of tankinis and one pieces. Maternal America has a selection of maternity bikinis but none that I'm in love with so I think I will find a regular sized one and get a larger size and a couple cute cover ups.... CAN'T WAIT to be on the boat everyday.... almost time!
