Has anyone made money taking online surveys?

I came across this idea online, I wonder if it is a good deal or not? There are tons of different ones out there, but most of the ones I saw have you pay to begin- around $35.00. I just wonder if its worth it?

I'll be interested to hear from others as well. DH thinks they are all scams but some have to be legit right?!

I do surveys/read emails on inbox dollars but they don't make very much. The surveys are .50 but if u do cash surveys where you sign up for stuff then you get more. I also do Pinecone which the ones I have done so far are $3 each and they send you a check each time.

I did come across this from ABC news, and at the very end, they have comments and one guy lists a bunch of sites that are free to sign up. I did a few today, and already have $23.00 racked up!

I signed up for this one right away, still working on the others, they ask for tons of demoraphic info to get started! Takes awhile..

It looks like you've gotten replies for good places to check out (I'm going to check them out too), just wanted to add that most legitimate ones won't charge you a fee to get started so I would stay away from those.
