What is the significance of "the eight"?  From what I've seen, they're eight members of thebump.com, right?  Are they just the most prolific posters?  The most colorful personalities?  The veterans of the site?  Thanks for any help that you can give this ignorant girl!

    um....let say, they are a group of ladies, that are very avid bumpers, and in my opinion, kinda "run" this board.... if you cross one they and thier possy will "flame" you, even if its just and honest opinion, or even if you misspell something..

    I suppose they are nice people, and that hormones just get the best of all of us...lol

    Oh, okay.  So it sounds like some people see them as bullies and some people see them as just a little extra flavor for the boards.  Thanks for the response!  I think I'm getting a clearer picture...

    I am not a regular on this board and very seldom post....the "8" are not bullies in my opinion, this is a message board and they add a little excitement and they have fun with everyone and eachother. Since all the banning and all the fear of being banned the board has definently died....it's not interesting anymore.  I can't wait for things to go back to the way it was. There are occasional ignorant comments from some of them, but no more than what I've seen from other people and it is just their opinion so who cares anyway? People seem to not have a thick enough skin and take it way to personally.  Just my opinion...
