For those with boys

Do any of your boys have hair on their balls? Totally random question i know, but both my boys have blonde ball hair that is about 1/4-1/2 in long and i wanted to know if any of you have ever heard of this before? If so is it normal.. what does it mean?

    Mine don't have it, but I'd guess it might mean extra testosterone? You could ask your pedi about it just in case it's a hormonal imbalance or something but I'm guessing it's fine.

    OMG, so funny that you ask this because I was wondering the EXACT same thing.  The other day I was changing one of them in front of the window and the hair is blonde so I had never noticed it before, but when the light hit I saw it, and I thought it was weird.  I have no idea if it is normal but was going to ask the pedi about it at their 1 year visit.  The hair is not as long as you describe but in the same location and then in the pubic area as well.  I was also noticing that one of the boys has more hair on his legs than I realized little guys have, he also has more of the hair that you describe.
    I am interested to see other's responses, and so glad you asked this.

    My DS has never had any... I would mention it to your pedi. It is probably nothing- but there is something called precocious puberty - where a child produces hormones too early. It can be stopped with meds.

    Not only does my DS have hairy balls, but all my girls have hairy gines.  It's all very short and very fine and very blonde, but it's there.  Not that I study them or anything, LOL; the changing table is in front of a window where the afternoon sun comes in and the light just hits all their bits "right," LOL!  I always just assumed that everyone is born with the hair they are going to have but when puberty hits it just grows longer and darker.  I never really talked to anyone about it though, LOL!

    One of my boys does and when I asked the pedi she said it was fine, she wasn't worried about any testosterone problems at all. Maybe ask the pedi about it???
