2nd Trimester

Have I popped? No? Yes?

Okay, so what are the for sure "signs" that you've popped? I'm almost 17 weeks and my belly just feels...different. I've had a bit of chub to begin with before the BFP, so I'm not sure if it's just that or I've popped and now it's my babe AND the chub? Meh. TIA for the info!

    You'll know when you've popped.

Okay, but HOW will I know? Is the 'can't suck it in anymore' the only real sign you've popped?

Agreed. I struggled with the same question from about 16-18 weeks. But when it finally happened there was no question

I wish I could tell you that patience returns later on in your pregnancy but sadly, it just gets thinner and thinner. Le Sigh.

Just remember, things like popping, the baby kicking etc. you want to have that AHA moment. It's worth looking forward too. Don't rush it. Soon enough you will be looking in the mirror going, sweet freakin jesus I'm huge and will that kid give me a moment's rest already!!!!!!!!!?

I can only imagine!! And I'm sure postpartum too brings its own struggles! And the patience just gets stretched and mixed with lack of sleep. Weee! :)

  • i thought the same thing about pooping/popping.. amused for a minute there.

alas, i'm 24 weeks and i'm waiting for the big dramatic bump... it's getting to where it's unquestionably pregnant belly though. i never really popped. it's been gradual.

your pants won't fit, you can't suck it in, and it's rock hard.

    you'll know.

    :)

  • I think it was about 18 weeks for me and I realized it when I tried to squeeze behind DH while he was sitting at the table and I couldn't suck in and wedged myself before I had time to really think about it.

My DH laughed at me, asking me how I thought I could fit. I thought I could fit cause I use to be able to suck it in, asstard!

I think I have a little this week - DH looked and me and said, "wow, you really look pregnant."

umm,  thanks - I guess. I am a thicker girl anyways so I can still suck in my there is a little bump that stays.
