Hey ladies I dont usually post on here in the evening but I was  curious.

Did any of you GP mamas get a BFN before you got your BFP (in your BFP cycle)? I know lot's of people take multiple tests, especially when they get negatives but Im not sure if I have ever seen a BFN before a BFP in a BFP chart. Does this make sense? Thanks in advance ladies.

    Nope, but I didn't test until 14 DPO so there's no telling what I would have gotten earlier.

    Yes, although in fairness I didn't chart that cycle so I didn't know exactly when I O'd. Retrospectively, I probably got that BFN on 8DPO (too early to test). I also had a "BFN" the day before my bfp, but in reality the line was just so faint I interpreted it as an evap line, when it actually was a +.

    I got a BFN the day before my BFP thats why I didnt think anything of it in regards to testing again.

    I got a BFN on 12dpo. Took a day to have one more, ok a few more, margaritas, then tested on 14dpo....BFP. :-) Link in siggy.

    This of course is what I am prob going to do...test too early. I didnt chart this cycle to try and d-stress myself. I really have no idea to test I am just going on the length of my previous cycles.

    I didn't but I only tested the day before AF was to show and got a BFP

    Yes.  I started testing waaaaay too early, I'm guessing around 8dpo (I didn't chart, just did opk's).  I tested daily, because I liked to torture myself like that and then had my bfp at 12dpo.

    I got a BFN, but I tested way to early. I also got what I thought was an evaporation line, but it actually was a positive. It also took a few days for the digital to say "pregnant" after the other tests showed BFPs.

    I tend to torture myself as well w/ early testing:) This month my whole chart was pretty half assed. The last time I tested was ~9dpo (neg). At 14dpo I just figured what the heck, I can handle it and low and behold BFP.

    6/20/11 mc @ 5wks
    10/19/11 mc @ 17wks- Trisomy 18
    IUI #1 4/26/12 BFN
    Moving on to IVF in July
    37 with DOR...fabulous
    ER 7/14/12 6R 5F, ET 7/17 3 embies, beta #1 7/26: 147, beta #2 7/28: 326, beta#3 7/30: 422...ugh, beta#4 7/31: 607...hopeful, beta #5 8/2: 1280, beta #6 8/7: 7184 and u/s shows 1 possibly 2 sacs! 8/14 2 beautiful heartbeats! 9/24 we are TEAM BLUE!!!!!

    I got one the day before I got my BFP.  I tested on Saturday and there was nothing, then Sunday we had a BFP.

    Yes....I was BFN at 11DPO and got a BFP at 14DPO.

    Yes. I tested at 10 dpo, & got a BFN. At 11 dpo, it was a very light BFP on Dollar Tree cheapie, & 12 dpo a definite "pregnant" on digital & FRER.
