  • yep...she's put herself to sleep on her own a total of maybe 8 times in crib (in her life) and rolls to side or belly.

We co-slept before and she napped in swing.

  • Yup! The day we removed her swaddle, she rolled right over.

  • DS has always had really good head control and as soon as I let him sleep on his belly he STTN, so that was around 8 or 9 weeks and it was the best think I ever did.

  • DD learned how to roll from back to belly 2 weeks ago and now sleeps on her tummy?

  • Since 4 months he's been a tummy sleeper...

  • DS is also a stomach sleeper. He has been for about 2 months now (since he could roll over on his belly.) At first he hated it, but I guess since he couldn't roll back the other way, he got used to it!
  • At about 5 months, DS started rolling onto his tummy to sleep (even though he had already been rolling for a month before that). It really helped him start sleeping better.

  • Definitely. Once he was rolling both ways, he started to prefer his tummy.
  • Yup, he started at 5 months old and always sleeps on his tummy now - with his cute little butt in the air.

Until about 7 months, he slept flat on his back. Since he started rolling while awake, he has spent every night either on his tummy or side.
  • My DD cried and screamed every night after we brought her home from the hospital. She's never taken a paci, liked being swaddled, or breastfed. The 3rd night I put her on her stomach just to pat her back to see if she'd go to sleep, and that was the first night she actually slept more than 5 minutes at a time. Called the pedi, she said our parents did it for decades, she'd be fine. She's NEVER slept any other way. Even in the stroller.

  • We always put DD on her side.  She use to roll on her back (but we couldn't put her on her back when we placed her in).  Around 7 months (I think) she started going on her tummy instead.

Funny thing is she still HATED if we put her on her tummy during the day.

Now she prefers being on her tummy night and day.

  • At around 4.5 months DS started sleeping on his belly.  He also puts his butt up in the air.  I think it is so stinkin cute.
  • Our DS has only ever slept on his tummy, except for about a month and a half when he was about 3 mos. old.
  • First, Ella is freakin' cute!

Jillian tends to go in phases.  Tummy sleeping was the big thing when she first figured out how to roll over.  Then she was on her back again.  She's been on her belly for a couple of weeks now.  I still put her down on her back though.
