When did you start busting out of your bras?
How many sizes did you gain?
What did you wear at night (if anything) to help with the discomfort?
What did you wear to workout in?

My mom teases me saying I am getting payback from her carrying me...m/s, boob pain, etc. She said with my sister pregnancy was cake, with me it was really taxing...
I will be honest here...I typically wear a 32E or 32EE (depending on the brand)...during AF and the week leading up to AF I wear a 32F...so I expected to swell early in the boobs since it is typical of my body (first place I gain weight and last place I lose weight too, sucks).
I am having trouble just making my 32F's work. I have the bra strap extenders that help with the pressure on the ribcage...but the cups really just don't do much for me anymore. I am kind of freaking out about this since I am only 6 weeks in....how much bigger are they going to get?
I am looking for any peace of mind you guys can bring me.
I know that everyone is different...but I guess I am looking for the majority of people to be able to tell me that they swelled early but they didn't get much larger than their inital swelling until much later.
Re: Poll: Talk to me about pregnancy boobs.
Spending $50 to $100 on ONE bra because you have to buy specialty bras....is NOT fun. I can only shop as special stores and Nordy's because VS and Frederick's do not carry my size. Macy's SF OCCASSIONALLY has my size....so I just stick to Nordy's and they still usually have to order my bras and ship them to me.
I wear a size 6...but in dresses I am lucky if I can wear a 10...then I have to get it tailored...it gets really expensive. Don't even get me started on the deep grooves in my shoulders and the fatigue and soreness I get in my shoulders and back.
The grass is always greener...right?
Oh yeah...and it was comical when they were fitting me for a kevlar vest. It took 45 minutes to try and get the best possible fit...and let's just say if I ever get back into that profession and need to wear it...I pray that no one shoots at me from the side because there is a nice gap of side boob.

EJ is growing up too fast!
Mine grew slightly, I went up a cup and a size by 20 weeks.
I think you are in for a big growth since you have big boobs anyways. My BFF has a similar size, I think she grew quite a bit. I know BF'ing was a little harder since her massive boobs weighed so much with milk in.
I grew one cup size in the first trimester and didn't get any bigger, even when starting to nurse. ?(I started as a D, pg and lactating I'm a DD.)
I didn't bother with nighttime bras, because to me they're more uncomfortable than the heavy unsupported boobs!?
For working out, I just went to Sports Basement and tried on a bunch of stuff, but they may not have your size. ?Have you heard of Title 9 Sports? ?(they may use roman numerals, "IX"...) ?they have the best selection of sports bras I've ever seen, and carry a lot of seriously supportive bras and a lot that are specifically billed as good for narrow chests with bigger breasts. ?Unfortunately I don't think they do brick and mortar, just catalog.
GL!?
ETA: Except my milk hasn't come in yet...so i have experienced zero growth.?
They have (or used to have) a store in PA. I have tried their bras but I still felt I needed 2...but I was using them for HEAVY workouts...doing abnormally difficult and vigorous workouts. Now I am only walking and lifting barbie weights per my physical therapist and doctors. So I am getting away with just wearing doubled up champion sports bras...but I am busting out of them so I do need to look elsewhere...so I think I should try looking into them again.

Most of my boob growth happened by 8 or 9 weeks (2 cup sizes), and then the girls held steady until the very end when they grew a bit more, but not enough to need new bras. They were very sore for most of the first trimester, too.
ETA: I didn't wear a bra at night...just a tank top usually, and work out you say? I don't think I worked out my entire pregnancy
When did you start busting out of your bras? First trimester
How many sizes did you gain? Just one during pg, then went up another during bfing.
What did you wear at night (if anything) to help with the discomfort? Nothing, I'm small to start out with.
What did you wear to workout in? I swear by the Old Navy sports bras but I'm an A-B cup so I didn't have any problems with those.
Brilliant news!
Sounds like a few of you have had this happen...you have eased my freak out a LOT.
Hopefully they will hold steady around now.
Zoe...did you sleep in any kind of bras?

Hehe...I edited my previous post before I saw this. I didn't wear a bra to sleep (just a tank usually), and I didn't work out so no bra needed there either.

How many sizes did you gain? I think I went up a cup size every month or two until the third trimester. I went from a DD to H. I gained another cup size once my milk came in.
What did you wear at night (if anything) to help with the discomfort? During pregnancy I wore a sleep bra and put a washcloth between my boobs.
What did you wear to workout in? I never found anything comfortable. I wore my regular bra.
Now I wear sleep bras all the time because I can't find a nursing bra that fits.
